Amber None in the first book, although they do have a very strong friendship. I have never heard the term “harrassing the horses” in conjunction with same sex love.
Keira Andrews Narrated by: I like Flewelling’s fantasy world for its unusual aspects, including Skala’s matrilineal royal family and gender-blindness of their social contract. The book does not clewelling a complex plot and because of this it works well as an audio book.
Let down by narration Enjoyable story with memorable characters in an interesting setting – I didn’t find the ‘world-building’ a problem at all.

How did the narrator detract from the book?
